- Addictions Training - learn how to make a difference

Whether you want to understand substance abuse or gambling, addiction treatment or simply “How can I help?” - Life For The World Trust can meet your training needs.

We provide addictions training from basic level drugs awareness for parents, teachers, youth workers, church leaders and congregations to Modular Courses, through to a university validated Certificate Course.  Whatever your level of experience, there is a course suitable for you, so that you can make a difference to the lives of individuals and families blighted by addictions.

Addiction Awareness training

This helps you to understand the dangers of an addictive lifestyle and possible ways to respond.
Courses can be arranged for an evening, a half day, one or two days, depending on the needs of the project, your local community or Church.

Modular
training

Consists of 8 individual modules derived from the Certificate Course.
Any of these can be taken as a single day course or in multiples.
Subjects include Relapse Prevention, Eating Disorders and Co-dependency and Pastoral issues.

Certificate Course in Substance Misuse,
Care and Counselling

This unique professional course, with a clear Christian foundation, is University Validated.
This course, requiring 12 or more students, is a pathway into more effective working and professional qualifications.
